took my grandaughter for chinese buffet they wanted to charge full price although she is only 10 years old menu said under 3 yrs free 3yrs -4ft11ins 1/2 price over 4ft 11ins full price we didnt pay as they measured her and she was 4ft 10in has anybody seen thistype of pricing elswhere

yes - this seems to be standard practise in most chinese buffet's

unfortunately, although i think it should not go on height but more on age - 16year olds should be charged full price, but under that age should be half price as they are still only children.

Yeah, the buffet at Star City does this. Seeing the amount some kids eat I think it is fair. They have a measure like at theme parks.
